Wow - We're Off

After lots and lots of waiting the final steps have moved very fast. Today we received quite a surprise when our agency called and said we had a Consulate Appointment on September 23. Could we be ready to leave in just three days on Thursday September 11th? Certainly we would make sure to be ready, and so with just three days to get our acts together, Bayley and I will leave bright and early on a 6:00am flight. This quickness of travel is probably a good thing, giving me less time to worry about missing Thomas and Jo-Jo so very much. Oh and yes I'll miss Ron too. As far as work, it gives me less time to worry about getting things in line at school as well. As far as we know we will meet Addie on Monday September 15th, and then stay the required length of time in China. We will leave China on September 25th and be back home late the night of the 25th. We are very excited and nervous too.

Tommy & Jo-Jo, so glad that you are having a new sister...Mommy & Bayley will be home soon! I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with Daddy...it will be a house of boys for a while!

Nana is ready. She will help Ron hold down the fort (home) and assist the boys with waiting for the new arrival(baby sister). We will not be boiling water! Hope the journey is safe. It is hard to let the "two girls" in the family go all the way to China without worries. But girls have to take charge and forge ahead. Without doing so how would we teach Ting what the power (strength and love too)of women is all about! Love Mom and Nana

It's Wednesday 1:30 p.m. China time--I've just gotten the chance to get back to you--Abigail has been alternately VERY Active and VERY fussy...David and I are so pleased for you. This part of our journey is almost over. We leave Friday Morning--we'll probably pass each other in the air! Can't wait to see you and Addie at home--I know you and Bayley will have an unforgetable experience.

Love, Elizabeth, David & Abigail
